The following instructions will allow you to switch out your existing Screw-To Lid assembly with our new upgraded design.

Remove the screen from the new ring by pushing the screen past the tabs at the bottom of the ring.

Slide the new ring onto the bucket like in the picture below. Depending on the bucket manufacturer, the fit may be tight, but it will fit.

Work the bottom of the ring onto the bucket first. It will fit regardless of bucket. Push down on the ring from the top until you hear it snap onto the bucket’s lid. This will ensure a sealed connection.

Insert the screen back into the ring from the top. If you bend it slightly and push down, it will slide past the groves. Don’t be afraid to manipulate the bucket and screen. The HDPE plastic is pliable and will not crack.

Work your way around the bucket until the screen is past the groves and is sitting on the support tabs.

The spigot assembly contains a thin NPR rubber washer for the outside of the bucket, a thick one for the inside, a PTFE bearing washer, and the nut.
To install, remove the nut, bearing washer, and thick washer from the spigot assembly. Insert the spigot assembly into a 1.5” hole, install the thick washer, PFE bearing washer, and nut by turning counterclockwise (opposite normal threads) until the nut is tight by hand. Then turn another 180 degrees to torque down the gaskets.
